Jeremy Renner in The Bourne Legacy

Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has secured a great product placement partnership with Universal Pictures for “The Bourne Legacy” film that will open on August 10th.

Leading man, Jeremy Renner’s character, Aaron Cross, dons an IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Edition TOP GUN (IW 379901), complementing the thrill-seeking lifestyle of this elite agent.

The watch case, with its 46-millimetre diameter, is made of black high-tech ceramic; the crown, push-buttons and back cover are made of matte grey titanium. Powered by the 79230-calibre chronograph movement, IWC stated that the watch embodies its  expertise in the creation of pilot’s timepieces.  This watch is the predecessor to the current IWC Pilot’s Watch collection including the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Miramar and the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN.

The Bourne Legacy expands upon Robert Ludlum’s novels, and is centred on a new hero whose problems have been triggered by the events of the previous three films. Jeremy Renner plays an intelligence agent who is part of a secret government program called Outcome that uses pharmacology to enhance soldiers’ brains and bodies.
