Hublot Mykonos Classic Fusion Chronograph

Part of the Cyclades Islands, Mykonos is a magical place where the sea sparkles in the sunlight, and where pretty side streets offer welcome shade from a broiling sun.  With its fine sandy beaches, small, untouched creeks, magical sunsets and pelicans, Mykonos remains the most distinctive of the Greek islands.

Despite all the talk of the gloomy Greek economy, Mykonos still enjoys a vibrant jet-set ambience and a feverish nightlife, making Mykonos the most festive of Greek islands. In July and August, the party starts before the sun goes down. The animated nightlife makes it a favourite beach resort and holiday destination for wealthy European and American sunseekers.

Now Mykonos has become the setting for the latest Hublot limited edition tribute watch. With its Greek partner Flamme Hellas and Gofas in Mykonos, Hublot decided to create a special series inspired by the island.

Hublot Mykonos Classic Fusion Chrono dial

It’s a 45mm chic sports watch equipped with a chronograph movement, a titanium case, shock-resistance and extreme corrosion-resistance, the dial is as blue with silver counters said to resemble the surface of the blue waters that glimmer in the sun. (in the centre of the counter at 3 o’clock is featured a windmill, a common sight in the Cyclades and Mykonos in particular). The watch comes on a matching tone blue alligator strap sewn onto rubber.

This limited edition watch of just 25 pieces is exclusively available from the Gofas store – Matogianni 43 – 846-00 Mykonos (More information can be found at info@gofas.gr).
