Graham Chronofighter 1695 Erotic Collection

Those who are easily offended should turn away now, because Graham presents a limited edition of its popular Chronofighter 1695 which features intricate engravings of erotic art scenes on the caseback.

Graham has raided several ancient literatures on the subject of love to feature erotic scenes from all corners of the globe including from English literature, Italian literature, Chinese literature, the KamaSutra and Japanese Ukiyo-e.

The 42-mm case of the Graham 1695 Chronofighter Erotic series, five models featuring five different erotic scenes, is made of 925 silver, a watch-world rarity; there is also a series in 18k rose gold cases. The illustrations on the casebacks are hand-engraved by local artisans in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, where Graham also makes its watches.

Each of the models are in strictly limited editions of just 25 pieces.

The front of the watch looks totally innocent, but turn it over and it reveals the intricate  craftsmanship on the caseback of explicit love scenes from ancient tomes. Each of the erotic scenes have a serial number and there is also a sapphire aperture with which to enjoy the motion of the balance wheel. The watch is powered by the mechanical automatic chronograph Calibre G1745 with a power reserve of 48 hours, operated by Graham’s trademark trigger-shaped, fast-action stop-start lever on the side of the case.

The domed, silver-coloured dial features a snailed minutes counter at 6 o’clock and a date window at 3 o’clock. The rhodiated, diamond-tipped hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova; the central chronograph hand is slightly curved to accommodate the shape of the crystal, which has non-reflective treatment on both sides.

The watches are water-resistant to 50 metres. Prices are around £9,500 for the silver models and £18,770 for the rose gold.
