Breguet-Aeronavale-Type-XX

For many ardent watch collectors and connoisseurs, a genuine Breguet remains a grail watch. You know what you are getting with a Breguet – and that is outstanding quality and genuine passion.

A spirit first imbued by Abraham Louis Breguet himself, and much later by the late Nicolas Hayek, former CEO of the Swatch Group, who invested hugely to ensure that Breguet would continue to be one of the world’s superlative watch brands.

Breguet Aéronavale Type XX

Originally designed in the 1950s for the French naval air arm, the Type XX returned to the Breguet collection as a civilian version fitted with a self-winding movement.

Its chronograph retains the fly-back function needed for flying search patterns. Its uncompromising looks and strong construction have made the Type XX popular among those seeking an original and technical sports watch.

Breguet Type XX watches come in two versions: the Aéronavale and the Transatlantique, with date indication. The Type XXI design features a fly-back minute totaliser at centre and a 24-hour time display.

The automatic winding Superlative Quality Breguet movement is of course functioning flawlessly and accurately. This watch comes on the original deep blue leather band and rose gold Breguet deployant buckle. Coming from a fastidious collector, and barely worn, this Breguet is as clean as you will find.

Asking price: $9450
